Proverbs

Proverbs 27:19 As water reflects a face, so a man's heart reflects the man.

To Whom It May Concern

Artist: Underoath
Song: To Whom It May Concern
So hold your head up high and know it's not the end of the road
Walk down this beaten path before you pack your things and head for home
At the end of the road you'll find what you've been longing for

I know 'cause my feet have scars to show
I was lost with vague direction and no place to call home

It's time for you to press on
This is not your war
Set your signts to north and press on
This is not your escape
Wash away what they thought of you
Because in this place, we're all as good as dead
....end cycle...

Behind the mask you'll find yourself alone
It's not the end of the road for you

WKND

"To be built up in a better way, Your way
Yahweh ain't about to fade
Bombastic, ain't no way to mask it
I saw Your face, and my old way's blasted" - Changed Forever by Toby Mac

I am home this weekend and I'm totally excited because I will next week too. With Toby's new CD boomin' in my ears, singing truth, life has got to be good :) Life is worth living any day Christ is alive. Life is worth living any day that you are His child. Life is worth living any day that you have salvation. :) (Toby reminds me of my own lyrics)
I have been eating chocolate and watching Psych and Monk. What gets better than mystery and comedy in the same show(s) :) The snow is crazy here, like anywhere else I guess. Gunna have to go outside and shovel to get the car out. lol. I was able to go to Wal*Mart today, the first time since Christmas break.
Going to the Eagle Scout banquet tomorrow for all scouts who received their Eagle award in the last year. Then back to school......Now I'm going back to watch another Monk show. :)

TWLORH

I celebrate To Write Love On Her Arms Day :)
It is going on right now. Celebrate with me!

"To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.

To Write Love On Her Arms Day is a day where anyone can write the words love on their arms, to support those who are fighting against depression and those who are trying to recovering. On this day, just write ""love" on your arms, and show it off, other people will ask why you have love written on your arms, and you tell them you are supporting to write love on her arms day, and how its benefiting a non profit organization helping stop depression, and make love the movement ♥"

Science

"We are invited, brethren, most earnestly to go away from the old-fashioned belief of our
forefathers because of the supposed discoveries of science. What is science? The method by
which man tries to conceal his ignorance. It should not be so, but so it is. You are not to be
dogmatical in theology, my brethren, it is wicked; but for scientific men it is the correct
thing. You are never to assert anything very strongly; but scientists may boldly assert what
they cannot prove, and may demand a faith far more credulous than any we possess.
Forsooth, you and I are to take our Bibles and shape and mould our belief according to the
evershifting teachings of so-called scientific men. What folly is this! Why, the march of
science, falsely so called, through the world may be traced by exploded fallacies and
abandoned theories. Former explorers once adored are now ridiculed; the continual
wreckings of false hypotheses is a matter of universal notoriety. You may tell where the
learned have encamped by the debris left behind of suppositions and theories as plentiful as
broken bottles." -- Charles Haddon Spurgeon, the renowned “prince of preachers,” in 1877:

the best thing

Life is going pretty good, here in the frozen city of Cincinnati. Yes, it is bitter cold, but can I say my heart is still warm with His love? :)
Thursday, I got to go to the Cincinnati Symphony for the first time. It was wonderful. They played Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings in C Major, Opus 48 and Symphony Number 4 in F Minor, Opus 36.
Friday, was cool. Had classes, worked and then went to Late Night where we play volleyball and basketball till ungodly hours of like 1 or 2.
Saturday, was spent mostly on going coffee shop hopping. lol. The college needs ideas and plans for the coffee shop they are trying to put on campus. Kandice, Andre'a, T.J. and I found this great place called Taza. What was even better was that MTV had a small camera crew there shooting for "Taking the Stage". :) I then slept a couple hours before I worked all night.
Sunday, Super Bowl Sunday, after I got off work. I slept for about an hour. I then went to EWC and heard Faith Trio sing. We then ate lunch there. I then went to Vine St. Kids Klub. I came to school and slept till 7. Then the big news is that the Colts lost. What a shame, right? * Enter Scaracm* lol. I really had no preference in the teams and just wanted to get under some skin :)

Sing, Play or Die

We all love music right? Come on, don't you dare lie to me. You got some serious issues if cannot listen to the classics or something. Well, since I have been here at G.B.S., I have heard the ministerial students here have a motto that they stand by. That would be "Preach, pray or die". The even better part of this story is that music majors have a motto too. It would be "Sing, play or die". I am here learning how to live by that motto.
