Fun fun fun
Yes, it has been fun.
Yesterday, I took an English test. Random maybe, but it means a lot to me because it was my last English test and the last test of High School.... mostly. (: I do got Achievement tests this coming week. Ending HS feels old, ya kno? It felt old to turn 18. lol.
Also yesterday, I went to a Cleveland Indians game at Progressive field with my " lil sis"( Emily Livengood). Had sweet, stellar fun. Too bad they had to lose. They did have some nice fireworks afterwards though.
Today, the main thing of the day was going to the Steeses from church. A while back, our youth leader made a coffin to put material things in that were dragging our spiritual life. Matthew 18:8 says, "If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire." Some ppl just mentally amputated things in their life or some simply wrote their needs, addiction, or problem on a paper and put it in the coffin. The great thing about tonight at the Steeses is that we burnt the coffin and the things in it. We also had food, hot dog eating contest, football, catch and good fellowship. Some of teens were playing smear the queer and I happened to get a bloody nose trying to take Stehpen down. HA. What fun!!

passion week
It's "Passion Week". The time Christ showed us his main purpose of coming to this earth, to die and rise so we might have salvation and be with Him. I think every week should be Passion Week for a Christian. We should remember His sacrifice every day of our lives and live like it.
A quote by John Irving:
"I find that Holy Week is draining; no matter how many times I have lived through his crucifizion, my anxiety about his resurrection is undiminished-- I am terrified that, this year, it won't happen; that, that year, it didn't. Anyone can be sentimental about the Nativity; any fool can feel like a Christian at Christmas. But Easter is the main event; if you don't believe in the resurrection, you're not a believer. "
I like what John Irving said, "...any fool can feel like a Christian at Christmas." At Christmas, people will actually go out of there way to be good, some torn families will actually come together just for the holidays, and everyone is ready to give and receive gifts. But it's Easter, the main "holiday" for the Christian, that tears someone to the core. Are we willing to give up everything, even our lives, for what we believe and what needs done?
What does Easter mean to you? To me, it's the time to celebrate Life, the power of Christ, and His love for us. It's the time to remember what He did for us and thank Him.
Frederick Buechner said Easter means "we can never nail him down, not even if the nails we use are real and the thing we nail him to is a cross". When Jesus arose it sure showed and proved to us His love and power. If He Himself can go through pain and suffering and can rise from the dead, He surely can have power to rise us from the dead and give us life.

quotes
I thought I would put some random quotes on here.
"Freedom is freedom. We have a right. Although the fan spins in a different direction, it doesn't mean the wind has to....I dreamed of a rainbow.... Then you go to candyland, where the king's crown is made of chocolate, Chocolate this and chocolate that and everyone eats chocolate." -Ryan Carroll
"When a guy is around a girl, he just has to think of survival." - Jonathan McConkey
"Think all you speak, but speak not all you think." - Patrick Delaney
"If you think twice before you speak once, you will speak twice the better for it." - William Penn
"It is a poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish." - Mother
Theresa.
"Love starts as a decision and continues as an action." - a mixed source
"Bitterness is like drinking poison... and waiting for the other person to die." - Successful Living

sigh
*sigh*
That aint no regular sigh,
that's the sigh of relief.
I just made my last speech
in speech class a few hours
ago. I even got a donut
and chinese afterwards.
Now I'm just enjoying
a nice afternoon, beginning
my weekend off pretty nicely.
I even plan on going to see
"Facing the Giants" at my
church tonight.
