Spring Fever

We think it's all gone. The sun is shining right? It makes no difference. It still comes back. Take this snow away. Let it melt away. I want to see green grass and the colorful flowers. You think spring may just be here when the temperature will fall as if gravity forces it once again. It's a battle inside of mother nature. Some try to escape the whole situation by visiting the south. Who cares what the ground hog or the calendar says about it. Its got a mind of its own. It will dare come back even after the fresh flowers are in bloom. It sends a vive through the population. Gets them talking about the weather yet once again. Just leave it alone. Its just trying to trick you. I wish I could say its time to shed those winter coats; the season for rain coats is here. I want the time for people running in puddles looking like little duckies to be here. I still long to feel the rain and sun on my face again. I want to embrace the smell of the early dew. We want the cycle to quickly continue. Do you know what this is effecting all of us? It's spring fever.
